Research interests include fate and transport of contaminants in the subsurface, energy budget, and fluid dynamics. My actual research is the design and testing of salinity-gradient solar ponds for salinity reduction and renewable energy generation. The investigation is focused on the use of computational fluid dynamics to model double-diffusive convection and other interfacial transport phenomena. The results of this research will be used for water quality mitigation at Walker Lake, NV.
