GRADUATE PROGRAM of HYDROLOGIC SCIENCES

Doctor of Philosophy Degree
Class of 2010

Academic & Research Interest

My current research focuses on surface/groundwater interactions.  I have been quantifying seepage from large irrigation canals using heat flux as a tracer, and developing a diffusion wave model to better understand spatial heterogeneity in water flux across channels with mild slopes.  Other interests include surface water quality, terminal lake ecosystems, and international water development.

Areas of Interests

Aquatic ecosystem modeling,   Ground water/surface water interactions,   Surface water hydrology,   Water resources in developing countries,
