GRADUATE PROGRAM of HYDROLOGIC SCIENCES

Murphy Gardner

Master of Science Degree
Class of 2014

Academic & Research Interest

Murphy's research mainly focused on the groundwater systems throughout the Lake Tahoe Basin and Martis Valley areas, where he worked to develop an accurate model that can portray groundwater movement through the different geologic formations of the area.  He is also interested in surface-groundwater interactions, contaminant transport, and water budgets.

Areas of Interests

3-D numerical modeling,   Climate change,   Ecology,   Geomorphology,   GIS/spatial analysis,   Ground water/surface water interactions,   Hydrogeology,   Hydrology,   Water quality,   Water resources engineering,
